We had an amazing evening out on the water with Mark and Murphy! Mark is a super friendly and interesting guy with a ton of stories to share. First mate Murphy was a hit with me and my family as well as the other boaters out at the sand bar. Definitely give Mark a call if you’re looking to get out on the waters around Islamorada for an afternoon or evening. Pics are from the sunset at the end of charter…. a storm was starting to roll in from the Glades and I caught some cool frontal clouds and lightning bolts with the setting sun.

Captain Mark and Commander Murphy are Great ! Recently had a day in the Keys including a 3 hour charter with Sandy Bottom charters. The whole day was easy and stress free from start to finish. I looked through their online site and contacted them by phone. Sandy Bottom is a small charter service and the benefit is personalized and far more authentic experience than a big cookie cutter charter company with tons of boats. Mark responded directly and got deposit and details set in minutes. Mark us ahead of the charter and got us all going quickly. Mark’s boat was clean and in great shape with everything ready for the day. Mark and Murphy are knowledgeable with the whole area and know the best spots for a great relaxing day. Our party of 4 were all comfortable with plenty of space on the boat. We all enjoyed talking with Captain Mark about the area and his travels while Murphy was ever present and on the scout for fish and always checking in on the guests. All in all we had a great day and evening and look forward to another adventure with them in the future.
